So on tuesday i picked up my reserved copy of Halo 3 i brought it home but didn’t have enough time to play it cuz i had to go to work.

The entire night at work i was imagining the carnage that would be inflicted at my home as the game was on at my house that night.

So i finally got home was playing online for like 30 minutes and it froze. I was mad but honestly it has happened before so i just thought i would start the console over again.

Boy, was i wrong.

I went to eject the disc tray and it only came out half way. And my Halo 3 game was not inside the tray! I had to pull the tray further out tilt my 360 up and pull our my disc with some pliers.

It was toasted. It had a giant engraved ring on it with a little circle right next to the hole in the middle of the disc.

Unreadable and it was like that mini circle was winking at me in jest.

I was extremely ticked but i thought i would try and take it back knowing that the odds were against me.

But Gamestop in Millington took my receive and gave me a new copy. All my game purchases will now be made at Gamestop.

And now the killing ensues and the game is awesome but no I am not even close to very good but soon I will be and I will take on all challengers

So i am in two leagues for fantasy football this year and my record is as follows.

Thompson Terrors in a league that I created with many people I’ve met from Church.

0-3

Drummonds Wildcats in a league with all my best friends from high school.

3-0

This either means I’m a genius, I’m extremely lucky, or I’m just average.

Either way LT you better step it up or you will ride some pine.

Ever play the if game with yourself…

If i was 7 inches taller I could play basketball.

If i spent more time studying I would’ve aced that test.

If i spent more time with my family we probably wouldn’t have any problems at all.

If i would have read my Bible more I would have that word that I needed.

Why do we define ourselves by the if’s in our life. It seems to me that we waste so much time with the ifs and not enough with the are’s.

 I am waiting for God to come through right now and I feel helpless in a way but knowing that God has a plan for my life but knowing that right now all I can do is wait. I hope that you would continue to pray for me that I would be aware of God’s working and where the doors are being opened.

I’ve been praying for a job in Greenville, SC for a long time now and I rejected the best offer I’ve had, today. I just have a feeling that there is something better. But honestly its pretty scary.

Also, I threw my wallet in the trash at a gas station today. I threw in some trash and i guess i didn’t realize i picked up my wallet. I didn’t realize that i threw it away until I got to school and i had a test today so i couldn’t just go back and get it. But i had to skip my racquetball class and went back to get it. Thank God it was there. Yes I’ve had a bad day.

yeah here is how Conference USA has performed against the “big boys”

UAB pushes FSU to the wire and FSU barely pulls out the win.

Marshall against West Virginia. Marshall dominates until Pat White and Steve Slaton turn it on in the second half.

Memphis outgains Ole Miss by 200 yards of offense. Commits 6 turnovers and loses on a dropped two point conversion pass.

Southern Mississippi is beating UT (ugh i can’t believe i even mentioned them in my blog) and UT pulls ahead at the end.

And ECU is playing Virginia Tech, their biggest game ever possibly because of the tragedy and everyone is pumped and united and ECU is dominating them pretty much the entire game and the Tech pulls ahead with a go ahead touchdown late in the game.

Overall 0-5 but what if these schools had the BCS money or any kind of a fair playing field. Well then i think we all know it would be a whole different ball game.

Miami lost like 14,000-3 by the way. you got whipped by the sooners. At least you guys can still hang out with your teammates at jail.
