I’m writing a few posts this week for Orange Blogger’s Week. I’m covering a few principles that have greatly impacted my ministry philosophy. You can catch up with the bloggers and their content on the Orange Leaders page.
Orange Philosophy #2 – Do for a few, what you wish you could do for many.
This comes from the Lead Small content. This one has been huge for my ministry. Just like being able to shift towards the focus on parents, this idea helped give resources for ministry leaders to invest in SGLs.
This shifts changes your ministry to become focused on Small Groups. To me, this means that small group becomes the answer to your ministry problems. You should change how you structure your team and how you program.
The Lead Small content, specifically, Creating a Lead Small Culture has been an absolute game changer for me.
I don’t know that the idea of small groups being important is new or different, but Orange brought focus and language to make it attainable for everyone.
This is one the greatest things about the Orange Strategy, they simplify complex concepts to make them doable for ministry leaders.
Lead Small has definitely changed how we structure, plan, teach in large group, and invest in our leaders. It’s been huge, maybe the most tangible paradigm shifting principle from Orange.
