As you probably know, I’m a huge supporter of the Orange Conference. It’s a conference that I’ve been a part of for the last 6 years and one that I continually seek out. My experience has changed over the last few years as now it’s more of a reunion of sorts with my friends from around the country but there are parts that I would never ever miss.
Last year, Andy Stanley’s talk is one of the best I’ve ever heard and I’ve listened to that talk more than any other in the past year. If you are trying to figure out why should I keep going to the same conference or why should I give it another shot, then here are a few things that I’d like you to think about as you register to attend Orange again.
Orange is breaking ground in new areas of ministry
Over the last couple of years I’ve attended breakouts in preteen ministry, special needs ministry, and Next Generation/Family Pastor areas of ministry. They aren’t satisfied with the “way we’ve always done things.”
Orange is gaining key influencers
I’ve seen Orange hire some great people the last few years. This past year they added Elle Campbell to the team, which I think is unbelievable. This is a big one for me because people I’m already listening to seem to be getting on board with Orange.
Orange is a place for collaboration
I get to attend and hear some of the new things that people are working through in their area of ministry. It’s also a chance to see and experience different areas of ministry than my own. My dream and vision for my ministry grows every year that I attend.
So don’t hesitate, get registered today. Make sure to check out all the blogs that are participating in Orange Blogger Week as well.
