Well honestly I’m not that upset about the UT game. With so much going on in my life basketball is not really a focus but I thought I would write about it.

We got dominated on the boards and shot horrible at the free throw line and were cold from the field not to mention the fact that we didn’t play like a team to get the win (something that we usually do without problem).

All of these problems and we lose by four. No reason to be upset. However how do we fall to number 3? We haven’t lost a single game besides losing to the number 2 team in the country yet we drop to number 3? There is some East Coast Bias going on here…

well at least Duke is very high in the polls.

well here is the update on everything:

• No job yet but still looking
• UPS has an opening at a call center and that looks like the best possibility right now.
• God has closed the door on several opportunities and for that I am thankful
• He is in control and I understand and am waiting for His opportunity to come
• Stacie is a national champion!!!
• The University of Memphis won two national championships over this past weekend: One in Hip Hop Dance (not her) and one in the All Girls Division (that’s her).
• She got a medal and will be receiving a championship ring soon….How cool is that?
• In other Stacie news she also has tendinitis in her ankle and could have tore her tendon over the weekend but God protected her and I apologize for ever calling cheerleading not a sport. She holds girls on top of her shoulders plus runs and flips all on an injured ankle. That is amazing!
• Look for her on ESPN on February 17th, which is also her birthday, huh.

Continue praying and I will continue to try and update you on everything.

I realized that I can’t spell an because of my last post and not only that but I don’t know what to expect because its over the phone. I am anxious to do the interview I will let you know what happens… pray out 

Well i don’t know anything about recruiting but I have an interview for a recruiting job on Monday over the phone. Which personally i think is very interesting but before I get too excited please pray for me that this is the job that God wants me to have.  Anyway just thought I would let you know.

Merry Christmas to everyone!!! We opened presents last night and i got about 4 new outfits for my new job. Too bad Santa didn’t get me a job to go with my clothes…. Well there’s always New Year’s!!! out 

well i went to the georgetown v. memphis game on saturday and honestly it was the best memphis sporting event i have ever been to competing closely with the last louisville game in football that we played.the crowd actually was loud and the house was packed and frankly we dominated georgetown in the second half. It was awesome.Now if only the girls that go would dress in blue instead of like they were going to the club it would be so much better. Also, still no job and I believe that God still wants me here for now and its just not time to leave for SC. I wish though but still am waiting on a job and God’s word for me to move. So please keep praying that I will listen and be active in God’s plan for my life. Next Saturday, versus Arizona 9pm. And for all you haters out there this will be our 3rd ranked team we’ve played this year. And there are still 3 more left on the schedule. And a good ole conference USA team might make it if they keep playing as well as they are so root for Houston so we can beat a decent conference USA team. out

In less than three months of this blog I’ve had 600 views how incredible is that! For some peoples blogs you might be like man I get 600 views a day or second but I am thankful for all 600 times someone has visited my blog.

So Kentucky who was scheduled to play Uconn if they just beat the scrubs lost last night to Gardner-Webb.

So another top ranked opponent that Memphis was probably going to play was beat. How can we beat the best if they lose to scrubs???

*We play in conf. USA blah blah blah*

#3 in the country because we are good and we will play tough out of conference teams. But we can’t help we are in a horrible conference. We went undefeated in conference last year and lost once the year before that in conference.

That’s what we’re supposed to do and we get penalized for it. It’s really a shame that Kentucky will probably get back into the top 25 even though they got beat by some scrubs.

When you beat scrubs you don’t play anybody, but when you lose to them if you are in a good conference, you just weren’t ready to play?

Keep doing what you’re doing tigers and let the haters hate and watch as they all fall in the tourney and watch us on their tv’s as the CUSA team gets in the Final Four and fights for a national championship.

 On a sidenote related to upsets. I saw a FedEx truck today on the Interstate… A UPS truck was way in front of it. Fed Ex will not catch up. Brown rules the Town.
