If you haven’t already read this guy’s blog and now follow him on Twitter (about time Dustin). You need to stop what you are doing right now and do it. His blog is great but even better are the series ideas that this guy puts out there for kidmin. I hope that you guys give him some much needed blog love and twitter love today!

And this one is incredible. If you haven’t heard of VideoTeaching.com then you need to stop reading and click the link and sign up. Couple things about this site.

  • You will be able to download video teaching messages from some crazy awesome speakers!
  • Will allow smaller churches to use high quality video for free rather than bring in guest speakers.
  • Steven Furtick, Francis Chan, Brian Houston, Craig Groeschel just to name a few!!!

What do you think about video teaching when your pastor is gone? Saves money but is it a better alternative to a guest speaker?

Kids, Kids, Kids

Besides the crazy music videos out there guess what two types of videos are the most popular?

  • Children
  • Dancing videos

Why do you think that is? I really believe that there are two things that I know about life.

  1. Dancing is so incredibly fun regardless of if you can do it or not.
  2. Children bring joy to your heart like nothing else in this world.

Imagine if you can children dancing. That is something that I have really never experience until I got to Brookwood but our kids love to dance. From the Cha Cha Slide to the Electric Slide and the Cupid Shuffle as celebration songs for kids lasting through our large group. It is one of the highlights of my week watching about 500 kids a week dancing to these songs.

If you haven’t played some good dance music for your kids lately I suggest you do it. It will make you laugh and smile like never before.

 I think that this site could become very big. It’s so much more relaxing and freeing to put my thoughts on paper. It gives you so much more freedom to think and express yourself. I hope that I see alot more to follow.
